Spicy Cucumber Margarita
A fiery twist on the margarita. Cool cucumber balances zesty lime and the subtle heat for a cocktail that’s refreshing, bold, and unexpected.
This cocktail is part of our Date Nite collection, made to be sipped while you cook together.
Because every drink deserves a beautiful moment.

Ingredients
2 oz cucumber juice (see below)
1 ½ oz tequila
1 oz lime juice
¾ oz jalapeño agave (see below)
½ oz Cointreau

½ cup agave
½ jalapeño, sliced
Heat the agave and jalapeño slices in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a simmer for 1–2 minutes. Remove from heat and let steep for 30 minutes. Strain and cool.
For the Cucumber Juice:
½ English cucumber
Splash of water
Roughly chop cucumber (no need to peel). Blend with a splash of water until smooth, then strain through a fine-mesh sieve or nut milk bag.
Instructions
Add cucumber juice, tequila, lime juice, jalapeño agave, and Cointreau to a shaker filled with ice.
Shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
Strain into a salt-rimmed glass filled with fresh ice.
Garnish with a lime wedge or cucumber ribbon.
Notes from the Bar
Homemade Syrup with a Kick
Jalapeño agave gives this margarita its signature heat. It keeps well in the fridge for about a week.
Other Uses for Jalapeño Agave
Don’t stop with margaritas. Use your jalapeño agave in a Paloma, a spicy Gin Rickey, or even to add a kick to a tequila soda. It also stirs beautifully into mocktails like sparkling lime water.
Balance the Heat
For a milder syrup, remove the seeds before slicing the jalapeño. For extra fire, let the syrup steep longer before straining.
Fresh Juice Matters
Homemade cucumber juice is worth the quick step. It adds a cooling balance that bottled juice can’t match.

A ritual we return to
Our cocktails are part of something bigger for us. They’re the beginning of Date Nite, a connection-centered experience we created to help you slow down, share a meal, and enjoy time with the one you love.
Each Date Nite is thoughtfully planned for you, so you are not stuck deciding what to cook or how to pull the night together. We pair one cocktail with a complete menu, a simple flow from prep to plate, and small details that make the evening feel easy and connected from start to finish.
It is not about perfection. It is about presence, and creating space to reconnect, whether that is with your partner or simply with yourself, over a really good meal.
