Pumpkin Pie Martini

A spirit-forward twist on a dessert classic blends velvety pumpkin, warming spice, and rich cream for a cocktail that’s bold, balanced, and not overly sweet.

A creamy pumpkin pie martini in a coupe glass with a graham cracker rim, topped with whipped cream and a star anise garnish, set against a dark background with a dusting of spice.
Ingredients
  • 2 oz vanilla vodka

  • 1 oz Irish cream liqueur (Baileys or similar)

  • 1 oz pumpkin purée

  • ¾ oz half-and-half (or heavy cream for richness)

  • ½ oz maple syrup (or simple syrup)

  • ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice

  • Garnish: whipped cream, crushed graham cracker rim, pumpkin pie spice sprinkle


Instructions
  1. Rim a martini glass with simple syrup and dip into crushed graham crackers.

  2. Shake all ingredients with ice until smooth and well chilled.

  3. Strain into the prepared glass.

  4. Top with whipped cream and a dusting of pumpkin pie spice.

Notes from the Bar

Vanilla Options

If you don’t have vanilla vodka, substitute with a small touch of vanilla bean paste — we love the one from Trader Joe’s. A few drops of vanilla extract or a vanilla tincture also work in a pinch.


Adjust the Sweetness

If you prefer a dessert-style cocktail, add ½ oz of simple syrup or maple syrup to the shaker for a touch more sweetness.


Whipped Cream Options

Use freshly whipped heavy cream for a luscious texture, or keep it easy with a swirl of Ready Whip or vanilla bean whipped topping.


Garnish Your Way

We finished ours with star anise for an elegant look, but a cinnamon stick or sprinkle of pumpkin spice works beautifully too.


Rim Inspiration

Try a crushed graham cracker rim for that classic pie feel—or switch it up with cinnamon sugar or pumpkin spice sugar for extra warmth.
