Ingredients

3 oz bourbon or whiskey
1 oz amaretto
Lemon or orange twist, optional
Amarena cherry (for garnish)

Instructions

Add the bourbon (or whiskey) and amaretto to a stirring glass filled with ice.
Stir for 30 seconds until well chilled and properly diluted.
Strain into a lowball glass over a large ice cube.
Garnish with an optional citrus twist and an Amarena cherry.
