Sumac Gimlet
A bright, citrus-forward gimlet with a subtle savory edge from ground sumac. Fresh lemon and gin keep it crisp and refreshing, while the sumac adds depth without overpowering.
This cocktail is part of our Date Nite collection, made to be sipped while you cook together.

Sumac Flavor Profile
Sumac is bright and citrusy with a gentle tang, similar to lemon zest. It adds complexity without making the drink taste spicy or earthy.
Bitters Optional
Orange bitters are optional here. They add a subtle aromatic layer, but the gimlet stands beautifully on its own without them.
Garnish Tip
Dust a lemon peel lightly with ground sumac before garnishing. It reinforces the flavor visually and aromatically without adding texture to the drink.
Cocktail Term: Double Strain
Double straining means pouring the cocktail through both a shaker strainer and a fine mesh strainer. This removes fine particles of sumac and ice for a smoother finish. → Link to our cocktail strainer

A ritual we return to
Our cocktails are part of something bigger for us. They’re the beginning of Date Nite, a connection-centered experience we created to help you slow down, share a meal, and enjoy time with the one you love.
Each Date Nite is thoughtfully planned for you, so you are not stuck deciding what to cook or how to pull the night together. We pair one cocktail with a complete menu, a simple flow from prep to plate, and small details that make the evening feel easy and connected from start to finish.
It is not about perfection. It is about presence, and creating space to reconnect, whether that is with your partner or simply with yourself, over a really good meal.
