Notes from the Bar

Spiced Rum Choice
We usually keep Sailor Jerry spiced rum on hand for this drink. It has a warm spice profile that works especially well with lime, honey, and allspice without tasting overly sweet.
Allspice Dram Alternative
If you don’t keep allspice dram on hand, you can substitute 2 to 3 dashes of old fashioned bitters to add warmth and spice without sweetness. → Link to our favorite old fashioned bitters
Garnish Aroma Tip
A star anise garnish adds a subtle licorice and absinthe-like aroma as you sip. If that flavor profile isn’t your favorite, opt for a fresh or dried lime wheel for a cleaner citrus finish.
Glassware
This cocktail works beautifully over ice in a rocks glass or served up in a coupe or larger stemmed glass for a more elevated presentation.
Because every drink deserves a beautiful moment.
A ritual we return to
Our cocktails are part of something bigger for us. They’re the beginning of Date Nite, a connection-centered experience we created to help you slow down, share a meal, and enjoy time with the one you love.
Each Date Nite is thoughtfully planned for you, so you are not stuck deciding what to cook or how to pull the night together. We pair one cocktail with a complete menu, a simple flow from prep to plate, and small details that make the evening feel easy and connected from start to finish.
It is not about perfection. It is about presence, and creating space to reconnect, whether that is with your partner or simply with yourself, over a really good meal.
