Spiced Pear French Blonde
A festive twist on the classic French Blonde, pairing jjuicy pear, botanical gin, and a touch of winter spice balanced with citrus and bubbles. Elegant, slightly sweet, and perfect for holiday celebrations.

Ingredients
1 ½ oz gin
1 oz pear nectar (not pear juice or purée)
¾ oz St-Germain elderflower liqueur
½ oz lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
1 dash Angostura bitters
Top with 2 oz sparkling wine (Prosecco or Champagne)
Garnish: thin pear slice or lemon twist
Instructions
Add gin, pear nectar, St-Germain, lemon juice, and bitters to a shaker with ice.
Shake until well chilled.
Strain into a chilled coupe or Nick & Nora glass.
Top with sparkling wine.
Garnish with a pear slice.

Pear Nectar
Pear nectar is richer and more flavorful than bottled juice and blends seamlessly into shaken cocktails. If you can’t find nectar, muddle fresh ripe pear and fine-strain. → Find our favorite pear nectar here
Sparkling Wine
Dry Prosecco keeps the cocktail lively and not overly sweet. Champagne adds a toasty, celebratory finish.
Gin Choice
Use a floral or citrus-forward gin (like Hendrick's, Drumshambo, or Uncle Val's Botanical) to complement the elderflower and pear.
Bitters
Just one dash of Angostura balances sweetness and adds an aromatic winter note.
Glassware
A coupe or Nick & Nora highlights the elegant golden color and keeps the bubbles delicate.
Batch for 6
Mix 9 oz gin, 6 oz pear nectar, 4 ½ oz St-Germain, 3 oz lemon juice, and 6 dashes bitters in a pitcher. Chill. Pour 3 oz per serving and top each glass with sparkling wine.
