Napoleon
A vibrant bourbon sour with a twist. Fresh raspberries, Campari, and an egg white foam create a cocktail that’s tart, fruity, and sophisticated.
Because every drink deserves a beautiful moment.
Ingredients
1 ½ oz bourbon
½ oz vermouth
1 barspoon Campari
¾ oz lemon juice
½ oz simple syrup
4 raspberries
1 egg white
Instructions
Muddle raspberries and lemon juice in a shaker.
Add bourbon, vermouth, Campari, simple syrup, and egg white.
Dry shake (no ice) for 15–20 seconds to create froth.
Add ice and shake again for 15–20 seconds until well chilled.
Double strain into a coupe glass.
Garnish with fresh raspberries.
Notes from the Bar
Egg White Optional
Adds a silky froth and beautiful foam cap, but you can skip it for a lighter version—or substitute aquafaba for a vegan-friendly option.
A Touch of Campari
The barspoon of Campari brings just enough bitterness to balance the sweet and tart flavors without overpowering the drink.
Fresh Fruit is Key
Use ripe raspberries for best results—they lend natural sweetness and vibrant color to the cocktail.
Vermouth Choice
Sweet vermouth will give this drink a richer depth, while dry vermouth makes it a bit brighter and more crisp.
