HOMEMADE GINGER SYRUP
This recipe uses a quick homemade ginger syrup that takes about 10 minutes. Blend a 1-inch knob of fresh ginger with 1/4 cup water until smooth, strain through a fine mesh strainer, then combine the liquid with 1/4 cup sugar and heat until dissolved. Let cool before using. Bottled ginger syrup works in a pinch, but fresh makes a noticeable difference.
GINGER BEER MATTERS
Not all ginger beers are equal. We recommend Fever-Tree or Gosling's for the most pronounced ginger flavor — both have real heat. Bundaberg is a milder option if you want to dial back the spice.
JALAPEÑO — TOTALLY OPTIONAL
The jalapeño slices add a slow, building heat but the drink works just as well without them. Skip them entirely if you prefer something straight-up refreshing.
COPPER MUG VS ROCKS GLASS
The classic mule is served in a copper mug, which keeps the drink colder longer. A rocks glass works just as well if you don't have one — as shown here.
MAKE IT A MOCKTAIL
Skip the vodka and add an extra splash of ginger beer and a squeeze of fresh lime. Still refreshing and just as spicy.
Because every drink deserves a beautiful moment.
A ritual we return to
Our cocktails are part of something bigger for us. They’re the beginning of Date Nite, a connection-centered experience we created to help you slow down, share a meal, and enjoy time with the one you love.
Each Date Nite is thoughtfully planned for you, so you are not stuck deciding what to cook or how to pull the night together. We pair one cocktail with a complete menu, a simple flow from prep to plate, and small details that make the evening feel easy and connected from start to finish.
It is not about perfection. It is about presence, and creating space to reconnect, whether that is with your partner or simply with yourself, over a really good meal.
