A crisp vodka sour with pear juice, bright lemon, and fresh thyme, finished with a splash of dry vermouth for a softer, drier edge.

This cocktail is part of our Date Nite collection, made to be sipped while you cook together.

COCKTAIL RECIPE

Makes 1 cocktail

1 1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz dry vermouth
3/4 oz pear juice
3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
1/4 oz simple syrup, optional
1 small thyme sprig
Thin pear slice and thyme sprig, for garnish

Gently bruise the thyme sprig in a cocktail shaker with a muddler. Add the vodka, dry vermouth, pear juice, lemon juice, and simple syrup if using. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well for 12-15 seconds. Double strain over a large ice cube in a rocks glass and garnish with a thin pear slice and a small thyme sprig.

NOTES FROM THE BAR

PEAR JUICE TIP

Look for 100% pear juice for the cleanest flavor. Pear nectar works too, but it's thicker and sweeter, so skip the simple syrup if you go that route. Taste first either way, since pear juice varies quite a bit in sweetness.

WHY VERMOUTH WORKS

A little dry vermouth keeps this from tasting like a straight fruit sour. It adds a subtle herbal dryness that rounds out the pear and plays nicely with the thyme.

BE GENTLE WITH THE THYME

Thyme is delicate, so a light press with the muddler is all it needs. Overdo it and the drink can turn grassy. For more thyme flavor: bruise two small sprigs. For a subtle hint: shake the sprig in whole without muddling.

GLASSWARE OPTIONS

We like it in a rocks glass over a big clear cube, which melts slowly and keeps the drink crisp. For something more elegant, skip the ice and strain it into a chilled coupe.

MAKE IT A MOCKTAIL

Shake 2 oz pear juice, 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice, and a lightly bruised thyme sprig with ice. Strain over a large cube and top with about 2 oz soda water. Add 1/4 oz simple syrup if it needs a little sweetness.

A RITUAL WE RETURN TO

Our cocktails are part of something bigger for us. They’re the beginning of Date Nite, a connection-centered experience we created to help you slow down, share a meal, and enjoy time with the one you love.

Each Date Nite is thoughtfully planned for you, so you are not stuck deciding what to cook or how to pull the night together. We pair one cocktail with a complete menu, a simple flow from prep to plate, and small details that make the evening feel easy and connected from start to finish.

It is not about perfection. It is about presence, and creating space to reconnect, whether that is with your partner or simply with yourself, over a really good meal.
