PEAR NECTAR
We used Yoga brand pear nectar, an Italian import made with 50% fruit. It has a rich, naturally sweet pear flavor that works beautifully here. Look for it at specialty grocery stores or online. → Shop our favorite pear nectar
FRESH GINGER TIP
Muddle the ginger firmly — you want the juice and oils fully released. Three slices gives a subtle warmth, four gives you more heat. Adjust based on how much ginger bite you want in the final drink.
SWEETNESS LEVEL
The recipe calls for 1/2 oz simple syrup for a balanced, slightly sweet drink. Drop it to 1/4 oz if you prefer a brighter, more tart margarita. Both are great depending on your preference.
FOR THE RIm
We did half tajin, half margarita salt eyeballed on the plate. The tajin adds a chili-lime kick that plays really well with the pear and ginger. If you want just a hint of spice, go heavier on the salt. If you love the heat, lean into the tajin.
TEQUILA CHOICE
Blanco tequila is the move here. Its clean, fresh flavor lets the pear and ginger shine. We like Espolon or Olmeca Altos for a cocktail like this.
DOUBLE STRAIN
Don't skip the double strain. It catches the ginger fibers and any ice chips and gives you a clean, smooth pour.
MAKE IT A MOCKTAIL
Replace the tequila with a splash of sparkling water or ginger beer for a non-alcoholic version. Keep everything else the same.
Because every drink deserves a beautiful moment.
A ritual we return to
Our cocktails are part of something bigger for us. They’re the beginning of Date Nite, a connection-centered experience we created to help you slow down, share a meal, and enjoy time with the one you love.
Each Date Nite is thoughtfully planned for you, so you are not stuck deciding what to cook or how to pull the night together. We pair one cocktail with a complete menu, a simple flow from prep to plate, and small details that make the evening feel easy and connected from start to finish.
It is not about perfection. It is about presence, and creating space to reconnect, whether that is with your partner or simply with yourself, over a really good meal.
