HONEY SIMPLE SYRUP
Combine equal parts honey and warm water and stir until fully dissolved. It comes together in about two minutes and keeps in the fridge for up to two weeks. The honey adds a floral sweetness that plays beautifully with the fresh peach.
FRESH PEACHES ARE BEST
Use the ripest, most fragrant peach you can find. A ripe peach muddled properly releases enough juice to carry the whole drink. If your peach is underripe it won't muddle well and the flavor will fall flat. When fresh peaches aren't in season, frozen peach slices work well — thaw them slightly before muddling. Avoid canned peaches, as the syrup throws off the balance of the drink.
BOURBON choice
A smooth, slightly sweet bourbon works best here. We like Maker's Mark or Buffalo Trace. Save your high-rye bourbons for an Old Fashioned — this drink calls for something approachable and a little mellow.
CRUSHED ICE
Crushed ice is worth it for a smash. It chills the drink faster, dilutes it slowly, and looks beautiful in the glass. If you don't have a crushed ice maker, wrap a few cubes in a clean kitchen towel and give them a few good whacks with a rolling pin.
MAKE IT A MOCKTAIL
Skip the bourbon and add a splash of ginger beer or sparkling water instead. Keep everything else the same for a fresh, alcohol-free version that's just as satisfying.
Because every drink deserves a beautiful moment.
A ritual we return to
Our cocktails are part of something bigger for us. They’re the beginning of Date Nite, a connection-centered experience we created to help you slow down, share a meal, and enjoy time with the one you love.
Each Date Nite is thoughtfully planned for you, so you are not stuck deciding what to cook or how to pull the night together. We pair one cocktail with a complete menu, a simple flow from prep to plate, and small details that make the evening feel easy and connected from start to finish.
It is not about perfection. It is about presence, and creating space to reconnect, whether that is with your partner or simply with yourself, over a really good meal.
