COCKTAIL RECIPE
Makes 1 cocktail
2 oz blanco tequila
½ oz crème de cassis
¾ oz fresh lime juice
¼ oz simple syrup or agave
Salt, for the rim
Rim a rocks glass with salt and fill it with ice. Add the tequila, crème de cassis, lime juice, and simple syrup or agave to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well, until chilled. Strain into the prepared glass, then taste and adjust the sweetness following Notes from the Bar. Garnish with a dried lime wheel.
NOTES FROM THE BAR

CASSIS VARIES BY BOTTLE
Crème de cassis ranges widely in sweetness depending on the brand. Taste the shaken drink before reaching for anything else. If yours is unusually dry, add up to ¼ oz more simple syrup or agave to round it out.
SKIP THE COINTREAU
If the drink tastes a little sharp, resist the urge to add orange liqueur. It's easy to reach for but tends to flatten the cassis. Instead, nudge the simple syrup or agave up to ⅜ or ½ oz for balance.
TEQUILA CHOICE
A clean blanco tequila keeps the cassis front and center. We love Lagado for our silver tequila here, nothing too peppery or vegetal that would compete with the berry flavor.
BATCHING FOR A CROWD
To batch this for 6, combine 12 oz blanco tequila, 3 oz crème de cassis, 4½ oz fresh lime juice, and 1½ oz simple syrup or agave in a pitcher. Shake 3½ ounces of the batch over ice per cocktail and strain into a salt-rimmed glass.

A RITUAL WE RETURN TO
Our cocktails are part of something bigger for us. They’re the beginning of Date Nite, a connection-centered experience we created to help you slow down, share a meal, and enjoy time with the one you love.
Each Date Nite is thoughtfully planned for you, so you are not stuck deciding what to cook or how to pull the night together. We pair one cocktail with a complete menu, a simple flow from prep to plate, and small details that make the evening feel easy and connected from start to finish.
It is not about perfection. It is about presence, and creating space to reconnect, whether that is with your partner or simply with yourself, over a really good meal.
