Lemon Piccata Prep: Make the No Knead Bread

This bread does require a little planning ahead, so you’ll want to start it the day before Date Nite. The dough needs a long, slow rise at room temperature for 14–18 hours to develop its texture and flavor. You have a few options for how much you’d like to prep in advance: you can simply mix the dough the night before and let it rest until you’re ready to shape and bake it on Date Nite (just start the bake before you begin cooking dinner so it’s warm when you serve). Or, if you’d rather have it completely finished, you can bake it earlier in the day, or even the day before, and rewarm it just before dinner. We’ve included three recipe slides with all the directions for mixing, shaping, and baking so you can choose your preferred approach, but the key is to mix the dough ahead of time so it’s ready to go when Date Nite arrives.
